Translating your interior goals accurately is just the beginning, but getting it to the network of trusted craftspeople and installed on time has become a common experience: 200+ residential homes in the past 25 years in addition to designing for commercial companies like Shea, Shapell Homes, and Richmond American.

Tala Studio is run by Yolanda Barriga Flanders, a native Angeleno who was first influenced as a child by watching her father create fine finishes for furnishings and collect handcrafted artifacts from Mexico. It was her Texan mother, who had a knack for spatial coordination and rearranged rooms with those newly-made pieces. Eventually, Yo
Tala Studio is run by Yolanda Barriga Flanders, a native Angeleno who was first influenced as a child by watching her father create fine finishes for furnishings and collect handcrafted artifacts from Mexico. It was her Texan mother, who had a knack for spatial coordination and rearranged rooms with those newly-made pieces. Eventually, Yolanda, or Tala, began participating in his weekend projects, understanding the core framework of a well made furniture piece. This launched her desire for design knowledge, studying interior design at UCLA and going on to work in the LA design district. She then launched her own business in Southern California and Arizona.
